Recycling waste is a hot topic as individuals and companies seek to reduce their carbon footprint. Fortunately the waste industry is very well regulated and there are companies out there who take their environmental responsibilities very seriously.

In time all companies in the industry will be forced (by industry regulators and governmental bodies) to adhere to increasingly stricter guidelines with regard to protecting the environment and reducing the landfill overload or incineration demand.

In the UK skip hire companies are very much divided on issues relating to their social and environmental responsibilities, but there are those who are taking a lead and putting the others to shame. The result is that those skip hire companies who are at the fore front with this are reaping the benefits as private consumers and industry customers take their business to them.
